Do you love creating great food and starting someone’s day off right? Breadalbane Inn is looking for a passionate, reliable Breakfast Cook to join our kitchen team and help deliver an exceptional dining experience to our guests.

This is a great opportunity for a cook who enjoys working independently, takes pride in their craft, and thrives in a welcoming, fast-paced hospitality environment. With additional line cook hours potentially available for the right candidate, there may also be opportunities to expand your skills and take on more kitchen responsibilities.

What You'll Be Doing

- Take the lead during breakfast service, creating delicious, beautifully prepared meals that leave a lasting impression on our guests.
- Prepare a variety of breakfast favourites, including eggs cooked to order and other classic breakfast dishes.
- Assist with lunch preparation and service as needed.
- Maintain consistent food quality, presentation, portion sizes, and adherence to established recipes.
- Keep your station organized, clean, and ready for smooth, effective service.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team and communicate any challenges or anticipated needs to the Head Chef.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, HACCP, and workplace health and safety standards.
- Stay calm, positive, and organized during busy service periods.




- Support the overall success of the kitchen by assisting with other duties as required.

What We're Looking For
- Experience in a professional kitchen is an asset.
- Confidence preparing a variety of breakfast dishes and egg preparations.
- A strong work ethic and pride in producing quality food.
- The ability to work independently while being a supportive team player.
- A positive attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent guest service.
- A good understanding of food safety and kitchen cleanliness.

Position Details
- Typical hours: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- Additional hours: Extra line cook shifts may be available for the right candidate.
- Compensation: Based on experience.
