Position Summary Acting as the primary account representative for assigned accounts, the Logistics & Brokerage Representative I is primarily responsible for providing brokerage and logistics services to clients Key Responsibilities (Supervisory/Materials/Information) Provide approval to ship freight; track and trace shipments Prepare Customs Release documentation

Analyze documentation to determine appropriate tariff classification, duty and tax rate

Prepare import and export documents

Primary account representative Resolves client inquiries, including tracking and tracing shipments, billing problems, etc.

Completes weekly billing in adherence to client contract and approves invoices for payment

Maintains files, photocopies, fax and other duties assigned Education and Experience High School diploma

Minimum of one year of brokerage experience Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) designation preferred Competencies,

Able to work in a high volume and fast paced environment

Excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills

Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel

Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals

Must work under deadlines and related stresses in a timely and effective manner

Must be able to professionally handle various personnel and other situations as they arise

May need to work the occasional Statutory Holiday or overtime, as needed
