What We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone with meaningful transportation experience who is organized, accountable, knowledgeable and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced environment.

You will ideally have:

- 3+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, freight brokerage or a related field

- Strong industry knowledge and a solid understanding of transportation operations

- Experience quoting freight, including understanding of rates, costs, margins and the factors that impact pricing

- Experience coordinating, and booking shipments and working with carriers

- Proven ability to manage complex situations and resolve operational issues quickly and effectively

- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple shipments, customers, carriers and issues simultaneously

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

- Strong attention to detail and follow-through

- Experience working in a fast-paced workplace where priorities can change quickly

- Strong computer and organizational skills

- Experience with transportation management systems, dispatch software or logistics technology




- A proactive approach — you see a problem coming and start working on it before it becomes an emergency

Leadership experience is an asset, but we're equally interested in someone who has demonstrated that they can take ownership, influence others and make things happen.

- Knows how to quote a shipment and understand whether the business makes sense

- Understands the transportation industry and can speak confidently with carriers, customers and internal teams

- Can manage complex situations without becoming overwhelmed

- Can juggle multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and follow-through

- Is comfortable making decisions and taking ownership

- Enjoys solving problems and finding practical solutions

- Can work independently while still being a strong team player

- Wants to help build and improve a growing operation rather than simply maintain the status quo

Pay: $75,000.00-$82,000.00 per year
