Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst specializing in Logistics Automation to join our innovative team. In this role, you will work with multi-functional teams to design, develop, and implement automated logistics solutions that streamline operations, enhance data accuracy, and improve overall supply chain efficiency. Your expertise will enable us to optimize logistics workflows and support strategic decision-making.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of logistics technology, collaborating across teams to deliver impactful solutions that propel our organization forward.

Duties

- Consult with logistics operations staff, warehouse personnel, and overseas hardware agents to identify, analyze, and document complex business and system requirements for Acrocargo’s transition to AI-native logistics and warehouse automation.
- Develop functional specifications, process maps, and acceptance criteria that incorporate occupational health limits (e.g., range of motion, ergonomic load) into the routing algorithms of automated guided vehicles (AGVs) and robotic sorting systems.
- Define system requirements for handling traditional logistics exceptions (shipment changes, missing documentation, cross-border customs discrepancies), explicitly mapping out conditions that require human-in-the-loop manual review.
- Analyze existing information systems and physical operational workflows. Identify inefficiencies in both data routing and human motor behavior,

recommending integrated software-hardware solutions to improve accuracy and reduce workplace fatigue.
- Conduct biomechanical and ergonomic workflow analyses for warehouse staff interacting with current automated sorting workstations, translating physical movement data into system design constraints for the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Collaborate with software developers and hardware vendors to integrate Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) safety protocols into information systems business solutions.
- Act as a specialized liaison between business users, engineering teams, and support teams to clarify requirements where digital software instructions intersect with physical human execution.

Requirements

- A bachelor’s degree in kinesiology, ergonomics, business administration, information systems or a related discipline
- Experience in logistics, warehousing, freight forwarding or cross-border operations.
- Experience analyzing operational workflows and translating business needs into documented system requirements, functional specifications, process maps and acceptance criteria.
- Strong analytical, technical documentation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of biomechanics and occupational ergonomics is an asset
