Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Take customer orders accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and efficient transactions
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and process refunds or adjustments with accuracy and integrity
- Assist in food preparation and food handling tasks to support daily operations and maintain food safety standards
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining space to meet health and safety regulations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS or similar cash handling tools is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
