Simco Pro Services is a family-operated construction company providing high-quality residential construction, renovation, and custom-building services throughout Newfoundland.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking to hire two experienced Carpenters to join our team:

- One position based in Corner Brook, NL
- One position based in St. John's, NL

These are full-time opportunities for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy the variety of working on new construction, renovations, and custom projects.

Travel

This position is intended for candidates currently based in or near the location for which they are applying (Corner Brook or St. John's). This is not a relocation or FLFO opportunity.

The majority of work will take place in the successful candidate's home region and surrounding communities. Depending on project needs, occasional travel to other project sites within Newfoundland may be required, including rotational work on a predetermined schedule.

What You’ll Do

As a Carpenter with Simco Pro Services, you’ll work on a variety of residential construction and renovation projects. Responsibilities may include:

- Complete framing, structural, finishing, and general carpentry work
- Build and install walls, floors, roofs, doors, trim, and other building components
- Measure, cut, assemble,



and install building materials
- Read and work from drawings, measurements, and project specifications
- Complete renovation, repair, and current construction work
- Safely operate standard carpentry tools and equipment
- Work independently and alongside other members of the construction team
- Maintain a safe and organized worksite
- Travel to project sites within Newfoundland as required

What We’re Looking For We’re looking for a reliable, experienced carpenter who takes pride in quality workmanship and is comfortable taking on a variety of construction projects.

Ideally, you have:

- Previous hands-on carpentry or residential construction experience
- Carpenter certification or Red Seal endorsement is considered an asset but is not required.
- Experience with framing, renovations, finishing, and/or general carpentry
- The ability to work confidently and independently on assigned tasks
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
- Experience safely operating common carpentry tools and equipment
- A valid driver’s licence
- Willingness and ability to travel within Newfoundland as required
