Overview

We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Cashier/Customer Service Associate to join our agile team. In this role, you will be the friendly face of our store, providing exceptional service to customers while efficiently managing transactions. Your enthusiasm, communication skills, and organizational abilities will help create a welcoming shopping experience and support our store’s daily operations.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases, product inquiries, and store navigation
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, credit card transactions, and receipts
- Assist customers with basic product inquiries and direct them to the appropriate department when needed
- Handle customer questions via phone or in person with professionalism and clear communication
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt checkout experiences
- Follow all cash handling procedures diligently to ensure accuracy and security
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure products are well-stocked and properly labeled

Experience




- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems, basic math skills, and cash handling procedures
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Organizational skills to keep the checkout area tidy and well-stocked
- Experience with merchandising, upselling, or retail sales techniques is advantageous
- Flexible availability to work weekdays and weekends, including rotating shifts.
