Under the direction of the Principal, the Library Technician: Operates the school Learning Commons and provides services in an automated/digital setting to meet the needs of staff and students; Performs administrative functions associated with the Learning Commons and/or school; Degree/diploma in relevant field (i.e.

Library

Technician, Information Science, etc); ~Expertise with Insignia (or similar library software systems), Google Suite,



Computer hardware and software, mobile technology, various AV equipment; ~ Comfortable learning and promoting new technologies (3D printing, robotics, coding, Cricut, etc.); ~ Individuals who possess an equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered; ~ The use of a personal vehicle may be required.

Status: Casual Library Technicians must be available to work on call during regular school hours. Annual (or Hourly) Salary: Hourly wage of $32.64 plus 4% in lieu of vacation.
