We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Cheese Production and Machine Operator with a solid background in mechanics or electrical systems to join our vibrant food manufacturing team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of cheese production, operating specialized machinery, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining efficient production workflows. Your mechanical or electrical expertise will be essential in troubleshooting equipment issues, performing routine maintenance, and optimizing machine performance to meet high-quality food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

- Operate cheese production machinery with precision, adhering to safety and quality protocols to ensure consistent product output.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment, diagnosing mechanical or electrical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Assist in the packaging process, ensuring products are correctly labeled, sealed, and prepared for shipment while maintaining sanitation standards.
- Use forklifts and other material handling equipment safely to move raw materials, finished products, and packaging supplies within the facility.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas by following sanitation procedures to comply with food safety regulations.




- Monitor production parameters using basic math skills to ensure proper measurements and ingredient ratios are maintained throughout the process.
- Document production activities accurately, including shift reports, equipment maintenance logs, and quality checks.

Requirements

- Prior experience in food processing or manufacturing environments is preferred; familiarity with the food industry standards is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge or electrical background necessary for troubleshooting machinery issues effectively.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality control tasks.
- Knowledge of sanitation procedures and food safety regulations relevant to food production facilities.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining high hygiene standards throughout the production process.
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols and operational guidelines.
