Duties
- Prepare and cook authentic Mexican dishes with precision, creativity, and consistency
- Oversee daily food preparation activities to ensure high-quality standards are met
- Manage kitchen operations efficiently, including inventory control and ordering supplies
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster teamwork
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment at all times
- Assist with customer service when needed, including serving or bartending during busy hours
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant setting
- Supervising experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and proper handling techniques
- Excellent restaurant management skills with a focus on efficiency and quality control
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and uphold high standards of hospitality
- Experience in the food industry, particularly in Mexican cuisine or similar culinary styles
- Skills in bartending or serving are a plus, enhancing guest interactions and overall service quality
