Thrive Psychotherapy London is a warm, collaborative, and supportive psychotherapy practice in London, Ontario. We provide compassionate, relational, and trauma-informed care to children, youth, adults, couples, and families.

We are looking for a Child Therapist (RSW or RP) to join our team as an independent contractor, with a focus on providing psychotherapy to children and youth and supporting their families.

This is an ideal opportunity for a clinician who enjoys working creatively with children, values the importance of relationships and connection, and wants to be part of a supportive clinical community.

Requirements and Responsibilities

- Master’s degree in counselling, Psychology, Social Work or equivalent in a clinically relevant field
- Registration with the CRPO or OCSWSSW is required
- 1+ years experience providing psychotherapy (placement/practicum experience will be considered)
- Obtain personal liability insurance
- Have strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Availability to work in-person and virtually in London, Ontario
- Ability to work on evenings and/or weekends to support client needs
- Experience working with children and/or youth is an asset
- Experience or interest in working with parents and families is an asset
- Comfortable working independently while also participating in a collaborative clinical environment
- Bring a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental approach to their work

- Comfortable using creative and versatile approaches to engage children in therapy
- Excitement to build their own caseload while receiving marketing support and referrals from the clinic
- Available to work 8-12 hours a week with opportunities for growth
