GAP Trucking Ltd. is looking for a reliable, safety-conscious, and motivated Class 1 Truck Driver to join our team in Lennox Passage, Nova Scotia.

We’re looking for a professional driver who takes pride in their work, operates equipment safely, and is committed to delivering loads efficiently and responsibly.

Job Responsibilities

- Operate tractor-trailers and heavy-duty transport trucks safely and professionally.
- Transport and deliver loads to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers.
- Ensure cargo is properly secured and transported safely.
- Follow all applicable traffic laws, transportation regulations, and company safety policies.
- Keep the truck and equipment clean and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns.

Qualifications

- Valid Nova Scotia Class 1 driver's licence.
- Previous experience driving tractor-trailers.
- Good knowledge of transportation safety regulations and road safety practices.




- Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
- Reliable, professional, and committed to safe driving practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to maintain accurate records and follow company procedures.
