Resources will be required to work in St. John's, which can be a combination of work from the office and remote work as stipulated during the assignment.

Overview The project requires a Senior Business Analyst with solid experience in application modernization, business process transformation, and data migration.

Experience with mainframe solutions will be an asset to compliment this role. The BA will lead requirements gathering, business process mapping, gap analysis, stakeholder engagement, and support the alignment of existing MRD and TMS business functions with the MVAD solution while coordinating testing, data mapping, and organizational readiness activities. The MVAD solution consists primarily of .NET Framework 4.7.2 WebForms and WCF components with some modern ASP.NET Core (.NET 8, Razor Pages).

The architecture spans multiple layers-including legacy and modern User Interfaces and Core Services that host business logic, service orchestration, and integration of workflows.

Assignment Details

Working under the direction of the Project Manager and / or Delivery Manager,the responsibilities of the Sr. Business Analyst will include, but not be limited to the following.

- Help validate the solution design from a business perspective and take a leadership role to validate business processes/requirements for Departments;
- Plan, facilitate,



conduct and document business processes/requirements validation workshops, meetings and interviews;
- Working with the client to configure the new system according to the client's needs, including security settings for users;
- Data migration - guiding and assisting the client with data cleansing and conversion, identifying gaps with new data structure, Capture data migration rules, mappings and validation requirements;
- Testing write test cases to validation requirements, lead internal and client testing, document bugs and validate fixes. Support testing activities, including test cases, execution, and client motorship with User Acceptance Testing;
- Change Management - Work closely with business representatives and OCIO Change Management, aiding development and implementation of business process change activities; Support training activities.
- Creation and finalization of standard project artifacts including, but not limited to:

- Workflows

- Use Cases

- Requirements documents
- Fit-gap analysis

- Business process models
- User guides for new/enhanced system functionality
- Complete any other client-related project tasks that will help ensure project success; and
- Assist with other project-related deliverables or tasks as required by the OCIO Project Manager.
