Reporting to the Clinical Director, the successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Clinical Department while serving as a substitute Clinical Supervisor when required. This role plays a key part in supporting clinic operations, student success, and the delivery of high-quality clinical education.

As part of OVCMT's long-term succession planning strategy, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to receive mentorship, training, and progressive exposure to leadership responsibilities within the Clinical Department. This position is intended to support the development of a future Clinical Director, subject to organizational needs and performance.

This is a unique pathway for an RMT interested in advancing into an educational leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide administrative and operational support including scheduling and payment processing
- Manage logistics for community events, including venue, participants and equipment
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and students
- Manage students registration and communication
- Evaluate event success and provide recommendations for future improvements
- Maintain accurate records and support efficient clinic workflows.
- Assist with clinic-related classroom and preparation activities.
- Substitute Supervisor for student clinics, in-reach/outreach, and community events as needed.
- Communicate key updates, issues, and recommendations to the Clinical Director.

The ideal candidate Qualifications

Required

- Current registration in good standing with the CCHPBC
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as an RMT
- Minimum two years of professional practice experience.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
