First Choice Millwork is an established Calgary commercial millwork manufacturer seeking a detail-oriented estimator to prepare project estimates and provide support to our Project Managers.

This full-time, Calgary office-based role focuses primarily on estimating, with project coordination support and occasional job-site visits.

What You’ll Do

- Review drawings and specifications and prepare project takeoffs and estimates.
- Obtain supplier and subcontractor pricing and identify potential scope or cost issues.
- Prepare estimate packages and assist with project handovers.
- Coordinate project documents, approvals, RFIs and change orders.
- Help track project schedules, costs and outstanding items.
- Work with project managers, production, suppliers and clients to keep projects moving.

What We’re Looking For

- Experience in construction estimating or commercial millwork is preferred.
- Ability to read architectural drawings, complete material takeoffs and work confidently with numbers.




- Strong organization, accuracy and follow-through.
- Strong computer skills, proficiency with Excel, and confidence learning and using estimating software. Experience with Innergy, Bluebeam or similar software is an asset.
- Explicit communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- Relevant education or trade experience is an asset.
