We are seeking a motivated and skilled Commercial Truck/Bus Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty vehicles and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities

- Perform comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on commercial trucks, buses, and heavy equipment using schematics and electrical testing tools.
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other vehicle components utilizing hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques.
- Service and repair industrial equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Operate heavy machinery safely during maintenance procedures or when assisting with assembly or installation tasks.
- Follow manufacturer specifications and safety protocols to troubleshoot electrical systems, HVAC units, and mechanical issues effectively.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed, parts used, and diagnostic findings for each vehicle or piece of equipment.




- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance schedules while providing excellent customer service to internal clients.

Experience
- Proven mechanic experience with a focus on heavy-duty vehicles or industrial equipment; dealership experience is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience working with excavators, cranes, forklifts, or other heavy machinery is advantageous.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of Detroit equipment or similar brands; familiarity with schematics and electrical systems is essential.
- Skilled in welding, fabrication, and the use of various hand tools and power tools required for repairs.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy equipment confidently during maintenance tasks.
- Knowledge of automotive repair principles combined with experience in electrical troubleshooting and HVAC systems.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to team members or clients.
