In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and assisting with general labor tasks on active construction sites. Duties

- Perform thorough cleaning of construction areas, including sweeping, debris removal, and waste disposal to ensure a tidy work environment
- Assist with site setup and breakdown, including moving materials, tools, and equipment as directed by supervisors
- Maintain safety standards by keeping walkways clear and reporting hazards immediately
- Support tradespeople by providing necessary tools and materials promptly to keep work flowing smoothly
- Help with basic site maintenance tasks such as organizing storage areas and ensuring proper disposal of hazardous materials when applicable
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate protective gear at all times during site activities




- Collaborate with team members to ensure the site remains clean, safe, and compliant with regulations

Qualifications

- Prior custodial or cleaning experience, preferably in a commercial or construction setting
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
- Positive communication skills to follow instructions clearly and work effectively within a team
- Reliable work ethic with a proactive attitude towards cleanliness and site support responsibilities
- Basic understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites is preferred
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
