Our client is looking for a Financial Analyst for a 6 month contract.

Location: 2 days in office located in the Downtown Toronto. Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Support annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and cash-flow reporting.

Maintain general ledger accuracy and investigate account discrepancies. Assist with financial statements and internal/external audit requests. Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and expense accounting as needed.

Develop financial models, dashboards, and ad hoc analysis for leadership. Help document and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. ~2–5 years of experience in corporate accounting, financial analysis, or public accounting. ~ Solid understanding of GAAP / IFRS and general accounting principles. ~ Advanced Excel skills;
