Duties

- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, consistency, and attention to detail
- Follow established recipes and food preparation guidelines to ensure quality standards are met
- Handle food safely by practicing proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Assist with food presentation and plating to enhance visual appeal
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, kitchen equipment, and utensils throughout shifts




- Support food service staff by ensuring timely meal preparation and delivery
- Adhere to all health regulations and safety protocols to promote a safe working environment

Skills

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant kitchens preferably experience in assisted living
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
- Excellent skills in meal preparation and food industry best practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and serving staff
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment, tools, and sanitation procedures
- Passion for delivering exceptional food service experiences that satisfy guests’ expectations
