Responsibilities

- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready for procedures
- Assist dentists during examinations and various dental treatments, including orthodontics and restorative procedures
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), utilizing CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools when applicable
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term dental health
- Manage patient records accurately using dental software Dentrix, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy standards
- Support front desk operations by greeting patients, scheduling appointments,



and handling insurance paperwork as a dental receptionist when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment, adhering to all infection control protocols

Experience

- Prior experience in dental assisting or related healthcare roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with Dentrix enhances efficiency in record management
- Knowledge of orthodontics procedures and pediatric dentistry is advantageous
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry ensures clear communication with team members and patients
- Experience with CAD technology for digital impressions or designing dental appliances is a plus
- Excellent communication skills combined with a friendly demeanor to support diverse patient needs
