Eastside Family Dentistry is looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. We are seeking someone who is organized, detail-oriented, enjoys working with patients, and works well in a team workplace.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and follow proper infection control protocols.
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure instruments and materials are ready.
- Take dental X-rays as required and permitted.
- Provide friendly, professional patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with clinical charting.
- Keep the clinical area clean, organized, and efficient.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Dental Assisting Diploma – Level II.
- HARP certification required.
- Knowledge of infection prevention and control procedures.
- Experience with intraoral scanning systems is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team.
- Previous dental assisting experience is an asset.
