Contract Position | One Of A Kind Christmas Show 2026

Location: Enercare Centre (100 Princes Blvd), Exhibition Place, Toronto, Ontario

Contract Dates: November 27 – December 6, 2026

We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking individuals to join our team at the One Of A Kind Christmas Show 2026! This is a temporary contract position for the duration of the event, ideal for someone who enjoys working with food, preparing delicious desserts, and interacting with customers in a fun, fast-paced market environment.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and assemble a variety of desserts and sweet treats.
- Wash, cut, and skewer strawberries for dessert preparation.
- Prep ingredients and ensure everything is ready for daily service.
- Package, organize, and replenish products for display and sale.
- Greet customers, answer basic questions, and provide friendly customer service.
- Assist with setting up and maintaining an organized market booth.
- Keep the work area clean, sanitized, and tidy throughout the day.
- Help with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and restocking.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations.

- Willingness to perform hands-on food preparation and cleaning tasks.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.




- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive food-preparation tasks.
- Previous experience in food preparation, dessert making, food service, or retail is an asset, but not required.

Contract Schedule Staff must be available to work during the Christmas Show, with shifts scheduled around the following event dates/hours:

Friday, November 27

10 AM – 9 PM

Saturday, November 28

10 AM – 8 PM

Sunday, November 29

10 AM – 5 PM

Monday, November 30

10 AM – 8 PM

Tuesday, December 1

10 AM – 8 PM

Wednesday, December 2

10 AM – 8 PM

Thursday, December 3

10 AM – 11 PM

Friday, December 4

10 AM – 9 PM

Saturday, December 5

10 AM – 8 PM

Sunday, December 6

10 AM – 5 PM

Please note: These are the event operating hours. Individual work shifts, breaks, and scheduling arrangements will be discussed during hiring.

Position Details

- Employment Type: Temporary contract for the duration of the event.

- Availability: Flexibility to work scheduled shifts, including evenings and weekends, is important.
