Job Summary

We are looking for a creative Digital Illustrator Artist Co-op Student to join our software product team. You will work alongside designers and engineers to create illustrations, characters, environments, concepts, and visual stories that bring personality to digital products. This role is ideal for an artist first who is excited about combining creativity and technology while exploring AI-assisted tools, animation, and other emerging creative technologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Create original digital illustrations for web and mobile products.
- Develop characters, mascots, environments, scenes, concept art, and visual themes.
- Transform product ideas into engaging visual concepts and stories.
- Refine and enhance AI-generated artwork while maintaining quality, originality, and consistency.
- Collaborate with designers and engineers to prepare artwork for digital experiences.
- Adapt and iterate artwork based on different product needs and feedback.
- Explore emerging illustration, animation, motion, AI, and 3D tools.

Key Qualifications

- Currently enrolled in Illustration, Digital Art, Animation, Concept Art, Fine Arts, or a related programme.
- Solid portfolio showcasing digital illustration, character design, concept art,



environmental art, or visual storytelling.
- Proficiency with tools such as Procreate, Affinity Designer, Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop,.
- Strong understanding of composition, colour, perspective, form, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to create original artwork and maintain a consistent artistic style.
- Creative, collaborative, self-directed, and open to feedback.
- Interest in AI-assisted creative tools, animation, motion design, or 3D is an asset.
