- Medium Employers Southwestern Ontarios Top Employers and ranked among Canadas Top Growing Companies by Report on Business Your Impact Crozier is currently seeking a Director of Finance to join our growing company Reporting to the President the Director of Finance will serve as Croziers lead finance executive and be responsible for oversight of all finance accounting treasury and reporting activities As a strong communicator you will make it your mission to streamline our budgeting payroll and financial reporting processes You will produce thorough financial status reports for senior management to help improve our operational efficiency and aid in our continued growth How you will contribute to the team In conjunction with the Manager of Finance oversee all accounts ledgers and reporting systems ensuring compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirementsMaintain internal control and safeguards for receipt of revenue costs program budgets and actual expendituresIn conjunction with the President and senior leadership team establish financial and operating benchmarks budgets program monitoring and reporting standards on a bi weekly monthly and annual basisAchieve budget goals with proper analysis and corrective actionHelp develop and support short and long term operational strategiesAct as a key member of the executive team providing strategic financial counsel to the President and the Board on investments growth initiatives and risk managementConsistently analyze financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly quarterly and annual financial statements; monitor progress and changesDevelop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets policies procedures and workflowOversee and support accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivityWhat you bring Minimum of a Bachelors degree in business accounting or related field
- CPA designation required15 years of proven accounting experience with 10 years of experience in a senior finance leadership positionStrong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards IFRS; knowledge of US GAAP is an assetExtremely knowledgeable in financial forecasting accounting principles and financial data analysisStrong understanding of economic and banking processesKeen analytic organization and problem solving skills which allows for strategic data interpretation versus simple reportingStrong interpersonal and communication skills;
