Responsibilities

- Efficiently clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to meet health and safety standards

- Support the kitchen staff by organizing supplies and maintaining a tidy work area to promote smooth workflow
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed during cleaning and food prep activities
- Help with waste disposal and recycling processes to maintain an environmentally friendly kitchen environment




- Follow all food safety protocols and hygiene practices diligently to prevent contamination
- Assist in setting up dining areas or serving stations as needed during busy service times

Qualifications

- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food handling practices is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and positive attitude with a focus on cleanliness and safety
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks comfortably
- Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation procedures is a plus
