Responsibilities

- Assist with meal preparation by chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients according to kitchen standards
- Support chefs and cooks with food handling, cooking, and plating tasks to ensure timely service
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Help with food storage by organizing ingredients and ensuring proper labeling and rotation
- Support serving staff by delivering prepared dishes to the dining area when needed
- Follow all food safety protocols to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene standards are met




- Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and staying proactive during busy periods

Requirements

- Prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is key
- Basic knowledge of cooking techniques, food handling, and meal preparation processes
- Familiarity with food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks comfortably
- Robust teamwork skills with a positive attitude and good communication abilities
- Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
