Duties

- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing machines or manual methods
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas meet health and safety standards
- Assist with organizing and storing clean items in designated areas for easy access by kitchen staff
- Support food preparation activities by providing clean equipment and utensils as needed
- Monitor dishwashing equipment for proper operation; report any malfunctions promptly




- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure hygiene compliance
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage high-volume periods efficiently during busy service times

Experience

- Prior experience in restaurant or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, and food handling practices is a plus
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking processes, is advantageous
- Experience working in hotels or food service establishments enhances your ability to thrive in this role
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe workspace are essential
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
