We Wag Toronto is looking for an experienced and reliable dog walker to join our team as an independent contractor.

This is a part-time, independent contractor opportunity. Compensation is paid per completed dog walking service, not as an hourly wage. The number of services available can vary based on client bookings, location, scheduling and demand.

Dog walkers are responsible for getting themselves to and from each assigned client. Travel time between client locations is not separately compensated, so applicants should consider their preferred service area and travel distance when deciding which clients/services are a good fit for them.

We need someone who

-Can work every day Monday - Friday for a minimum of the next 6 months from approximately 10-3 This does not mean you will be walking continuously from 10–3. This is the primary window in which our clients request services.

- Has previous experience handling and walking dogs. If you do not have professional dog-walking experience,



please tell us about your relevant dog experience and why you are interested in this position.

-Loves dogs

-Has experience with dogs

-Can handle walking DOGS OF ALL SIZES

-Understands canine behaviour

-Is honest and trustworthy

-Is physically fit (we do not do dog parks, we do not ever take our dogs off-leash, we are walking the whole walk)

-Loves being outside

-Will walk in any weather condition

- Understands this is a part-time job and has another source of income

-Is reliable

-Is detail-oriented

-Quick to respond by text, easy to get a hold of during service hours

Important: This is an independent contractor opportunity, not an hourly employee position. Contractors are paid an agreed rate for each completed service. Service volume and daily schedules vary depending on client demand and the services a contractor accepts.

Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
