About us
We are looking for a person living in Grey or Bruce County. We are a professional, agile, and customer-centric company. Our mission is to provide transportation to persons with disabilities in the Grey and Bruce counties area, as well as medical appointments in the Greater Toronto Area and the South Western Ontario region to include Burlington, Oakville, Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, York, London, Waterloo and Kitchener.
Our work environment includes
- On-the-job training
- Work-provided shirts, jacket, and a pair of steel-toed boots/shoes
We are currently seeking an energetic and hardworking individual to join our team as Driver. The ideal candidate will have a G driver's license with at least 10 years driving experience, the ability to pass a Vulnerable Sector Police Check, and provide a driver abstract from the Ministry of Transportation. The position is part-time, with the number of hours fluctuating between a minimum of 5 and up to 35 hours per week. This particular position is to replace drivers that are on leave or sick, so the "up to 35 hours" is not a guarantee. However, precedence tells us that this person would be fairly busy!
The driver must also drive on at least one Saturday per month.
The driver must also accept that there are unpaid gaps in driving hours during the day, much like for a school bus driver (for example, a few hours in the morning and a few hours in the afternoon separated by a time gap).
The position requires a sense of responsibility,
good physical fitness (you will be bending down often to secure wheelchairs and helping persons get into and out of the vehicle) and good communication skills. Our drivers are an integral part of our team, so we want to work with people who will fit in with our organization, have a passion for working with people and are flexible and open to change.
The person must also accept to drive in and out of cities, to drive long distances and to drive in inclement weather such as in winter.

- Use a software installed on a work-provided cell phone
- Clean the vehicle every week

The driver must be available starting at 6 AM to answer the phone and be ready to start the day should they be required. Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $22.03 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 5.0 per week
