REGULAR PART-TIME EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANT For Evergreen Elementary School in Drayton Valley, Alberta

This position is covered by the Central Alberta Association of Municipal Employees Collective Agreement. Please note, current CAAMSE applicants may be considered over non-CAAMSE applicants.

Evergreen School is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Educational Assistant (EA) to support students with diverse learning, communication, behavioral, and social-emotional needs. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of trauma-informed practice, communication development, (speech support) emotional regulation, and proactive behavior support strategies. The ideal candidate will be patient, adaptable, collaborative, have SIVA/Handle with Care training and committed to creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment where every student can experience success.

The work schedule is 6 hours/day Monday through Friday following the school calendar with duties to commence October 26, 2026.

The successful applicant will be required to provide an original, satisfactory, and recent (within six months) Criminal Record check with the vulnerable sector as a condition of employment.
