We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator with Alberta ECE Level 2 or Level 3 certification to join our vibrant team. Duties

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical growth for children.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, independence, and respect among children.
- Observe and assess each child's progress, documenting developmental milestones and communicating with parents or guardians regularly.
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and collaborating with specialists to ensure inclusive participation.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to safety standards and licensing regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to develop daily schedules, lesson plans, and classroom routines that meet diverse learning needs.
- Utilize computer skills for record keeping, reporting, and communicating effectively with families and team members.

Skills





- Proficiency in English.
- Strong childcare experience combined with knowledge of early childhood education principles.
- Experience working with children who have disabilities or special educational needs.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Ability to operate computers efficiently for documentation, planning, and communication purposes.
- Classroom management skills with an emphasis on organization, time management, and leadership.
- Writing skills necessary for accurate record keeping and reporting on child development progress.

Pay: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
