Responsibilities

- Design and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote curiosity, creativity, and social-emotional growth.
- Provide attentive caregiving to meet the physical needs of children, including feeding, diapering, and hygiene routines.
- Foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports children with diverse abilities, including those with disabilities.
- Observe and assess individual progress, maintaining detailed records of each child's development milestones.
- Collaborate with families and team members to ensure consistent support for children's learning and well-being.
- Maintain a clean, safe,



and organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety standards.
- Support children in developing positive behaviors through guidance, patience, and positive reinforcement.

Experience

- Prior experience working directly with children in educational or caregiving settings is highly preferred. Preference will be given to those with a level 2 or 3 but will hire if you are willing to do the level 1 online course within three months of hire.
- Classroom experience demonstrating the ability to manage group activities and individual needs effectively.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is an asset.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including age-appropriate teaching strategies.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with children, families, and team members.
- A background in caregiving or nurturing roles that highlight patience, empathy, and attentiveness.
