Responsibilities

- Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development and learning.
- Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth through individualized care and group interactions.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and specialists to ensure cohesive care and educational strategies.
- Assist in the assessment of children’s progress and document observations to inform future planning.
- Collaborate with team members to develop inclusive strategies for children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or requiring special education support.
- Use computer skills to maintain accurate records of attendance,



developmental milestones, and incident reports.

Requirements

- Proven experience working with children in an early childhood or childcare setting.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices.
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities in French are highly desirable.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs is preferred.
- Demonstrated classroom management skills combined with leadership qualities.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in computer operation for record keeping and reporting purposes.
- Valid certification or qualification in childcare or early childhood education as required by local regulations.
