TalentWorld is recruiting an Engineering Takeoff Coordinator in Guelph, Ontario , for one of its valued partners.

In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating project assessments, preparing material takeoffs, reviewing product designs, and providing technical and administrative support to ensure projects move forward efficiently. Working closely with customers, sales representatives, and internal teams, you will play an important role in supporting engineering operations and project success.

Schedule: Full-time | Permanent | On-site | Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

- The typical hiring range for this position is $50,000 to $70,000 per year and is specific to candidates located in Ontario. The salary will be determined based on your knowledge, skills, and competencies, and you'll have room to grow after you join! Engineering Takeoff Coordinator Responsibilities:

- Review project contracts, assess material requirements, and support project planning and coordination.
- Prepare accurate material takeoffs, project configurations, and product design assessments.

- Communicate directly with customers and sales representatives to clarify project requirements and provide technical support.




- Coordinate the specification and ordering of specialized materials to support project needs.
- Translate technical product information into transparent instructions for non-technical team members.

- Assist the Quality Assurance team with product inspections and technical assessments.
- Maintain accurate engineering records, project documentation, and technical information.
- Support basic drafting, detailing, and preparation of fabrication drawings as required.

Engineering Takeoff Coordinator Qualifications:

- Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) designation or currently working toward certification.
- Previous experience in engineering, manufacturing, construction materials, or a related technical field is considered an asset.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly.

- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to changing project demands.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, customers, and sales representatives.
