Epic Orders Analyst | Timeless Medical Systems

Contract: 8 months, potential extension

Location: Remote across Canada

Hours: 37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday

Working Hours: Preference for Eastern Time availability

Insight Global is undertaking a significant technology modernization initiative and is seeking an experienced Epic Orders Analyst to support the implementation of Timeless Medical Systems , with a focus on clinical nutrition and feeding-related workflows.

The successful consultant will act as an Epic Orders lead throughout the implementation lifecycle, partnering with clinical, operational, eHealth, vendor, and project teams from design and configuration through testing, go-live, and stabilization.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Serve as an Epic Orders lead for the Timeless Medical Systems implementation
- Support planning, requirements validation, solution design, build, implementation, and go-live
- Design and configure Epic Orders components and workflows supporting Timeless
- Partner with clinical nutrition, pharmacy, laboratory, operational, and technical stakeholders
- Gather and document clinical, business, technical, workflow, and integration requirements
- Work with Timeless Medical Systems and technical teams on Epic integration and interface testing
- Support data mapping, validation, conversion, and end-to-end testing
- Develop and execute system, workflow, and user acceptance testing
- Support cutover planning, implementation readiness, training, go-live, and stabilization
- Troubleshoot application and integration issues
- Create technical, workflow, testing, and support documentation

What We’re Looking For

Key qualifications:

- Epic Orders certification and hands-on Epic experience




- Experience with Timeless Medical Systems
- Knowledge of clinical nutrition and feeding workflows
- Experience configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting healthcare applications
- Healthcare system integration/interface experience, ideally involving Epic
- Experience with requirements gathering and workflow analysis
- Robust documentation, analytical, and stakeholder communication skills

Highly Relevant Experience Experience with any of the following would be particularly valuable:

- Timeless/Epic integrations
- Pediatric or complex hospital environments
- Clinical nutrition systems
- Human milk, formula, and enteral nutrition workflows
- Feed preparation and administration
- Barcode verification and patient safety
- Product, lot, expiration, and recall management
- Nutrition orders/documentation within Epic
- HL7 integrations
- PHIPA, healthcare privacy/security, and data integrity
- Go-live and post-production stabilization

Compensation: $70/hr to $90/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
