About the Role

Are you the kind of cleaner who enjoys variety, knows how to tackle different spaces, and can comfortably communicate with both clients and teammates?

Habit&Kin; is looking for an experienced, well-rounded cleaning professional within the cleaning world. Someone who can move confidently between recurring home cleaning, detailed deep cleans, commercial spaces, move-in and move-out projects, and vacation rental turnovers.

You bring practical skills, a friendly approach, and good judgment. You understand that every property requires a different plan, and you know when to take initiative, ask questions, or keep others informed.

This position offers the potential to grow toward 30–40 hours per week over time, depending on client demand, availability, and fit. We’re especially interested in someone who wants to build a long-term role with H&K; and take on more responsibility as they learn our properties, clients, and processes.

What You’ll Do

- Deliver thorough, skilled cleaning across residential, commercial, and vacation rental properties.
- Adapt your techniques and priorities to the service, property conditions, and approved scope.
- Review job notes, client preferences, checklists, and time budgets before beginning.
- Work independently or alongside teammates, helping organize tasks and keep the job moving.
- Communicate clearly and respectfully with clients, colleagues, and the office.
- Flag additional cleaning needs, timing concerns, access issues, or supply shortages early.
- Handle client questions professionally and refer requests for extra work or schedule changes to the office for approval.
- Complete laundry, linen changes, and property presentation tasks where included.
- Choose appropriate products and equipment, protect surfaces, and respect clients’ belongings and privacy.
- Check completed work, report anything outstanding, and leave equipment clean and ready for the next job.

Experience & Requirements
- Previous professional cleaning experience is required; experience across several cleaning services is an asset.
- Good knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, equipment, and surface care.
- Strong communication skills for client conversations, team coordination, and written job updates.
- Comfortable using a mobile app for job details, time tracking, and communication.
- Reliable transportation to assigned properties throughout our service area.
- Ability to perform the physical duties of cleaning, with reasonable accommodation where needed.
