Job Title: Experienced Housekeeper – Private Family Residence

Location: Langley, BC

Job Type: Part time, Monday–Friday, 30 hours per week. Six hours per day, with flexible start and finish times between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Compensation: $30/hr

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly dependable and experienced housekeeper to manage the day-to-day upkeep of our quiet, beautiful private family home in the Fort Langley area. The ideal candidate views housekeeping as a profession and takes pride in maintaining a well-organized, and smoothly run home.

Reliability and consistency are essential in this role. We are looking for someone who is punctual, dependable, and takes pride in following through on their responsibilities without the need for supervision.

This position is best suited for someone who:

- Has several years of skilled housekeeping experience, ideally in private homes
- Enjoys a consistent routine and takes pride in being punctual and dependable
- Takes ownership of their role and looks for ways to contribute to the smooth running of the household
- Is looking for a stable, long-term opportunity

Key Responsibilities: Perform routine housekeeping duties throughout the home, including:

- Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms and kitchens
- Dusting and vacuuming all living areas
- Mopping floors and wiping surfaces
- Tidying and organizing as needed
- Changing bed linens and making beds
- Laundry: washing, drying,



folding, ironing and steaming clothes and linens
- Maintain cleanliness of appliances, counters, and cupboards
- Take out garbage and recycling
- Replenish household supplies (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc.)
- Alert the employer to any maintenance issues or household needs

Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a professional housekeeper or cleaner in a private home or professional setting
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Must have own transportation as we are not close to transit
- Demonstrated reliability and strong attendance record
- Strong attention to detail
- Discreet and respectful of household privacy
- Physically able to perform housekeeping tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
- References required

Schedule: Monday - Friday. 6 hours per day, flexible within 8am – 4pm

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 per hour
