Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced PSW (Personal Support Worker) / Caregiver to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality, personalized care to individuals across various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospice environments, and private homes. Responsibilities

- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and comfort
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
- Support patients with meal preparation and nutritional needs, ensuring dietary restrictions are followed
- Provide emotional support and companionship to foster a positive setting for clients
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living space
- Assist with mobility and heavy lifting as needed to prevent injury and ensure safety during transfers or repositioning




- Document care activities meticulously in client records and communicate updates to healthcare teams or family members as required

Requirements

- Proven experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care environments with a strong focus on senior care or hospice support
- Knowledge of patient care techniques including dementia care and working with individuals with disabilities
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently when assisting clients with mobility needs
- Certification or training in caregiving, nursing assistance, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience is highly valued
- Excellent communication skills with a caring attitude that respects client dignity and independence
- Capable of performing tasks such as medication administration, meal preparation, cleaning, and general caregiving duties with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends or overnight shifts as needed
