Our client is seeking a hands-on Financial Analyst with robust month-end accounting experience for a 6-month contract with our client in Mississauga. There is potential for extension or conversion to a permanent position.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activities, ensuring accurate financial records and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals and account reconciliations.
- Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Support financial reporting and resolve outstanding accounting items.
- Maintain accurate supporting schedules and documentation.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on month-end accounting and reporting experience.
- Strong experience with bank reconciliations,



journal entries and accruals.
- Previous experience in a mid-to-large-sized organization with high transaction volumes.
- Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables; macros are an asset.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills and a proactive approach.

- Location: Mississauga, ON
- Duration: 6 months, with potential to extend or convert to permanent
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid — 3 days onsite per week
