FIRE ALARM SERVICE

TECHNICIAN

Kenora, ON

Superior Fire Alarm is looking to recruit a Fire Alarm Service Technician to our team in Kenora, Ontario. The successful candidate will perform all fire alarm, fire extinguisher and emergency light inspections and repairs.

Responsibilities:

-Take direction from supervisors, coordinators and other senior technicians as per company policy.-Perform or assist with performing annual inspections, verifications and troubleshooting as required.-Complete work orders and reports in a timely matter-Read and understand engineered drawings, specifications, programs, schematics, installation manuals, and service manuals.-May be required to handle after hours and weekend service calls on a rotation basis.

Skills & Abilities:





-Proficiency with use of computers-Robust verbal and written communication skills-Ability to work independently and as a member of a team-Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with both the customer and coworkers.-Experience with Notifier systems is an asset.

Qualifications:

-Diploma/Certificate in electronics, fire safety or related program or;-Equivalent combination of education and experience-CFAA Certification or willingness to complete the course-Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract-Electrical experience is an asset

Pay: $26.77-$41.26 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 per week
