Duties

- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, providing detailed descriptions of menu items and specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely communication with kitchen staff.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation, sanitation, and food safety.
- Manage cash handling and cashiering responsibilities, including processing payments accurately and giving correct change.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through friendly recommendations.
- Monitor tables for guest needs, respond swiftly to requests, and ensure a positive dining experience from start to finish.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas,



adhering to food handling regulations and restaurant policies.

Qualifications

- Prior food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and basic food handling techniques.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for cashiering, bill splitting, and handling cash transactions accurately.
- Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is advantageous but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is valued highly.
