Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines, ensuring quality and presentation.

- Serve food to residents or guests with a friendly, skilled attitude, maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, sanitation protocols, and hygiene practices.
- Assist in cleaning kitchen equipment, dining areas, and food preparation stations to uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely meal service and efficient kitchen operations.
- Support meal delivery or distribution processes within the facility, ensuring accurate portioning and presentation.
- Follow all safety regulations related to food handling, sanitation,



and workplace safety to maintain a safe environment for all.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service, food preparation, or related roles within assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude towards residents or guests.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy meal periods.
- Kitchen experience including cooking, serving, cleaning, and food handling is desirable.
- Prior experience in assisted living or healthcare environments is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is valued.
