Just Like Family Home Care is looking for a reliable freelance graphic designer we can call on as projects arise.

This is not a position with set or guaranteed hours. There may be times when we have several projects underway and other times when little or no work is available. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable with that kind of flexible, ongoing relationship and who can become familiar with our brand over time.

What you may work on

Projects could include

- Brochures, posters, flyers and other advertising materials
- Print and digital marketing pieces
- Preparing logos and other artwork as print-ready files
- Adapting existing designs into different formats or sizes
- Creating materials within our established brand guidelines
- Preparing files according to printer specifications
- Occasional updates to existing materials

Most projects will follow an established brand, although there may also be opportunities to bring fresh ideas to the work.

What we’re looking for The right person will have:

- Professional graphic design experience
- A robust portfolio of print and marketing materials
- Experience preparing production-ready files for commercial printing




- Strong attention to detail, including sizing, bleed, colour settings and file formats
- The ability to follow established brand guidelines
- Clear communication and reliable follow-through
- The flexibility to take on occasional, sporadic projects
- The ability to manage revisions and meet agreed-upon deadlines

About the arrangement

This is an independent contractor opportunity. Work will be assigned on a project-by-project basis, based on our needs and your availability. There are no guaranteed hours or minimum amount of work.
