Responsibilities

- Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring sterilization standards are met
- Take digital radiographs (CAD) and assist with other imaging needs to support accurate diagnoses
- Manage patient records using dental software Dentrix, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout visits
- Support front desk activities by scheduling appointments
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment while adhering to infection control protocols

Experience





- Valid Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license or certification required with Min. 2 years of clinical experience in Canada.
- Proven experience with dental assisting in a busy practice setting
- Familiarity with Dentrix dental software is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care
- Experience with CAD (computer-aided design) tools for digital imaging
- Robust skills in rubber dam placement and high volume suctioning
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
