Full-Time Optometric Assistant, Starting at $23/hour

Exciting things are happening at North Peace Optometry Clinic, and we're looking for someone to grow with us!

With the upcoming opening of Solstice Eyecare in March 2027, we're looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated individual to join our team.

A Unique Opportunity!

You'll begin at North Peace Optometry Clinic, receiving hands on training and gaining valuable experience with our established team. When Solstice Eyecare opens, you'll transition to our brand-new downtown clinic and be part of bringing this exciting new chapter to life!

What You'll Be Doing

As an Optometric Assistant, you'll help deliver exceptional patient care while supporting our optometrists in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include

- Welcoming patients and preparing them for eye examinations
- Answering phones, scheduling appointments, and processing payments
- Performing specialty testing related to eye examinations
- Accurately recording patient information in electronic medical records
- Assisting with patient inquiries, billing, and insurance processing
- Maintaining clean, organized clinical areas and supporting daily operations

Who We're Looking For





Someone who is friendly, dependable, organized, and enjoys working with people. You'll need excellent communication skills, attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Experience in healthcare, customer service, or optical settings is an asset, but not required. We're happy to train the right person!

Hours & Benefits

- Full-time, Monday–Friday
- Working hours- 8 AM and 5 PM
- Starting wage of $23/hour, depending on experience
