Hypertec is seeking a Subcontracts Manager to join our Supply Chain team in Montreal.

Customer Focus In collaboration with key stakeholders, prepare subcontracting strategies, cost estimates, and risk assessments for inclusion in bids

- Evaluate potential subcontractors and assist in prequalification processes.

Contract

Development & Negotiation Draft, review, and negotiate subcontract agreements ensuring compliance with project requirements and legal standards

- Define scope of work, deliverables, and performance metrics for subcontractors
- Secure favorable terms and conditions while mitigating risk exposure.

Contract

Administration & Compliance Monitor subcontractor performance against contractual obligations, schedule, and quality standards

- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards. Identify potential claims early and implement strategies to mitigate disputes
- Manage resolution of subcontractor claims, variations, and disputes in collaboration with legal and project teams
- Assess contractual risks and develop mitigation plans throughout the project lifecycle
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Law, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field




- Minimum 7+ years of experience in subcontract management within construction or EPC projects
- Solid knowledge of contract law, commercial terms, and risk management principles
- Proficiency in contract management systems and MS Office Suite
