We're looking for an upbeat and hardworking individual to fill the position of a Gas Station Attendant. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about customer service and the gas station industry, and will have prior experience working in a gas station environment. We are looking for someone who displays a commitment to customer satisfaction, but is also capable of handling a variety of tasks on their own and working effectively with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Shoot the breeze with customers while they fill up their car.
- Maintain a clean and well-lit station.
- Communicate effectively with customers to reduce misunderstandings.
- Treat each customer equally and deal with them in a fair manner.
- Be friendly toward customers and never raise your voice.
- Make sure gas pumps are working properly before letting a customer use them.
- Ensure that restrooms are clean and stocked with toilet paper, soap, paper towels, etc.
- Keep an eye out for suspicious people.
- Keep an eye out for emergencies that may occur in the vicinity of the gas station.
- Gather trash from trash bins and empty trash into dumpster or truck.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $16.40-$18.00 per hour
