Canadian Swine Academy is recruiting on behalf of Katesville Sow Barn. This barn is owned by two brothers who are second generation swine producers near Kerwood, Ontario. At Katesville, family comes first! This family business prides itself on providing lots of support to its employees and respecting work life balance. We are looking for a General Farm Worker to join the team.

Terms of Employment: full time, permanent

Job Duties:

- Mainly working in sow barn:
- moving animals
- breeding
- farrowing
- vaccinating
- processing
- weaning

- Pressure washing

- Truck washing

- Minor repair work

- Possible field work

Requirements for Application:

- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to read, write and speak English
- Ability to commute to the work site




- Ability to work weekends
- Being mechanically inclined or relatively handy is an asset

Work Experience Requirements:

- None, will train

Benefits:

Compensation:

- $21 - $25 per hour
