Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and energetic General Kitchen Assistant to join our vibrant food service team. Responsibilities

- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning cookies, ingredients to ensure timely service
- Dishwashing and organizing dishes and equipment
- Support cooking activities by following recipes and safety guidelines to produce high-quality dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Serve food efficiently and courteously to customers or staff, ensuring proper presentation and portion control
- Handle food safely by adhering to proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures to prevent contamination




- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of shortages or expired items
- Follow all health and safety regulations diligently to promote a safe working environment for everyone

Skills

- Experience in food service, restaurant work, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Strong understanding of food handling procedures and safety standards within the food industry
- Ability to assist with meal preparation and cooking processes efficiently under supervision
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, professional attitude towards customers or team members
- Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
- Good organizational skills with attention to cleanliness and detail during food preparation and service tasks
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety

Pay: $17.95-$19.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 – 44.0 per week
