We are seeking a dependable, hands-on General Labourer/Driver to support our shop and project teams. This role includes transporting materials and equipment, assisting tradespeople, and helping maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop. The successful candidate is a team player who is willing to pitch in wherever needed and is comfortable driving a 2500 pickup truck with a trailer carrying steel beams and coils.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Move and transport materials, equipment, steel beams, coils, and finished products as required.

· Drive a 2500 pickup truck with a trailer to transport steel beams, coils, materials, and equipment safely.

· Assist with loading, unloading, moving, and organizing materials and equipment.

· Operate hand tools and equipment as required and assist tradespeople, including millwrights, MTBIs, and electricians.





· Keep the shop and work areas clean and organized by sweeping, taking out garbage, cleaning equipment, and completing general housekeeping tasks.

· Work cooperatively with team members and take on other general labour and shop support duties as needed.

Qualifications:

- A valid G driver’s licence and a clean driving record are required.
- Must be comfortable driving a 2500 pickup truck with a trailer carrying steel beams and coils.
- Must be a reliable team player with a positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed, including shop cleanup and general housekeeping.
- Ability to perform physical work, move materials safely, follow instructions, and maintain a clean and safe work setting.

Competencies: · Valid Ontario G driver’s licence (required).

· Comfortable towing a trailer with a 2500 pickup truck while transporting steel beams and coils (required).

· Tow motor (forklift) licence or training is an asset, but is not required.

Work Location: In person

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
